Drive: Creating a New FolderΒΆ

A folder is useful for containing related files in your drive and an integral part of creating a hierarchical organization of content.
To create a new folder, you must have navigated to your drive. Refer to Managing a File or Folder if you are having trouble reaching this point.
  1. Click Create New Folder in the info tab

    • Alternatively, click to access this option

  2. Enter the folder name

  3. Click Create

  4. Alternatively, click in the upper right hand corner of My Drive and follow the above steps
