Emails: Adding a Video BlockΒΆ

The Video block allows you to add a video to your email.
To use this block, you will need to have navigated to the email design tab. Refer to Designing an Email if you are having trouble reaching this point.

  1. Place a Video block in your email where desired

  2. Click Choose Video

  3. Enter the URL of the video - you can paste a YouTube or a Vimeo URL

  4. Click Done

  5. Click the checkbox entitled Show Caption to add a text block that will appear with the video

    • Enter the caption text

    • You can use tokens in your caption and customize the text using the icons in the first row

  6. If desired, change the properties of the video in the Style tab

  7. If desired, change the position of the video or the video width in the Settings tab

    • Select Top, Bottom, Left, or Right

    • Select One-Quarter, One-Third, One-Half, Two-Thirds, or Three Quarters

    • The positioning option is really only useful when you have opted to display a caption. The video will be positioned relative to this block of text

  8. Click Done
