Workflows: Adding a Send Internal SMS BlockΒΆ

The Send Internal SMS block allows you to send a text message to a user in administration.
This can be used to internally notify a user within your team when a contact reaches a certain point in the workflow.
To use this block, you will need to have navigated to a workflow design tab. Refer to Designing a Workflow to do so from Automation. Refer to Campaign and Phone guides for other workflows.
  1. Place a Send Internal SMS block in your workflow where desired

  2. Select a recipient using one of the two options:

    1. Click Choose a specific user

      • Click Choose a User

      • Select a user

    2. Click Enter a phone number

      • Enter a phone number

  3. Enter a message

  4. If desired, Add Attachment

  5. Click Done

  6. In the workflow, you can now click show more to display the name or phone number of the internal SMS recipient
